{"id":835,"date":"2023-08-04T15:02:47","date_gmt":"2023-08-04T15:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infocizinci.cz\/?p=835"},"modified":"2023-10-17T12:02:07","modified_gmt":"2023-10-17T12:02:07","slug":"duties-after-arrival-to-czech-republic","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infocizinci.cz\/en\/permanent-residence\/duties-after-arrival-to-czech-republic\/","title":{"rendered":"Duties after arrival to Czech Republic"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Foreigners who intend to stay in the Czech Republic for a period of more than 30 days are obliged to notify authorities about the place of their stay upon arrival to Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is necessary to personally report at the appropriate foreign police office (office for that particular area of residence) and fill in all the necessary forms. EU residents and their family members are obliged to report their place of residence within 30 days of arrival and non EU residents and their family members within 3 days of arrival to Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your duty to report your place of stay in the Czech Republic is invalidated if your intended stay shall not be longer than 30 days or if a third party providing you with accommodation fulfills the duty for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This duty does not include persons younger than 15 years of age or diplomatic workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Short-term stay (3 months or less from arrival to Czech Republic)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citizens of non-visa countries can stay in the Czech Republic freely for a period of up to 3 months, then they must leave the country or, alternatively, they can stay if they have been issued with a long-term visa or permanent residence permission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Citizens of visa countries can stay in the Czech Republic without appropriate visa only if they hold a travel document with residence permission or a type D visa issued by another Schengen state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All other citizens of visa countries must have a type C short-term visa that allows them to stay in the Czech Republic for time period indicated on the visa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Foreigners who intend to stay in the Czech Republic for a period of more than 30 days are obliged to notify authorities about the place of their stay upon arrival to Czech Republic.
