These include visa policy friendliness, safety, the employment rate of foreign-born individuals, and the number of migrants. The authors of the ranking also drew on the firsthand experiences shared by expats themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Czechia scored particularly well in the ranking for its employment rate among foreign-born individuals, which reaches nearly 80%. For comparison\u2014in Iceland, the most welcoming and friendly country in the world, it stands at over 82%. In this respect, the Czech Republic surpassed popular expat destinations such as Austria or Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Currently, more than one million foreigners live in the Czech Republic, and their numbers are growing. These are primarily citizens of Ukraine, Slovakia, and Vietnam. They find opportunities in the labor market and are able to grow professionally. Although Czechs can sometimes appear reserved and not as overtly friendly compared to other nationalities, the study highlights that another perspective on friendliness needs to be considered: the opportunity to find a good job, navigate the local environment, and naturally “blend” into everyday life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
