Colonnade Insurance is a non-life insurance company that is 100% owned by the Fairfax Financial Group. It was established in 1985 and is one of the strong international holdings<\/strong>. Fairfax Financial Holding’s portfolio consists of dozens of insurance and reinsurance companies in over 100 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colonnade has been operating in the Czech market since 2016, when it took over the assets of AIG and QBE. In Central and Eastern Europe, it has additional offices in Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania, with a subsidiary established in Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The insurance company is licensed to provide seventeen of the eighteen statutory insurance lines. It specialises mainly in corporate insurance and corporate personal insurance, such as group travel and accident insurance. It is even the market leader in this area.
